1. When processing orders...  do I have to manually check the image numbers on file, organise into orders & size folders, and then upload them to my printers etc, or can that be generated automaticaly direct from the website via ftp to my printers?

Simple Answer: Yes. Our system is a "Do It Yourself" fulfillment.  If  your lab uses ROES it's very simple to use our order formatted image list to quickly retrieve ordered images through a simple search and them pop them into ROES.  You can still use the search and retrieve method which makes order fulfillment much easier.

Long Answer: Our system works with Web-Optimized images to allow for quick browsing and ordering.  The only images we have you upload are non-printable quality low resolution images so sending those to your lab is not useful.

Uploading high resolution images to your server can bog the site down, eat up processor power and take up excessive disk space.   Transferring files from your server to your lab can actually cause a lot of problems on shared hosting due to restriction by hosting companies regarding data transfer and processor power allotted to you.  The reason why we don’t encourage it or haven't integrated a lab is because other means are just as effective and ensure your site, applications, blog, skooks kart, etc.  stay online without interruption.

2. Also when generating a folder of images from photoshop to use in a gallery, what is the ideal pixel diamensions?

Thumbnail Images: 75 - 150 pixels (120px recommended)
Large Images: 400 - 600 pixels (500px recommended)
Zoom Images: 800 - 1200 pixles (1000px recommended)

3. Can you accept 'Nochex' as the merchant service and gateway? www.nochex.com

We don't have Nochex supported currently.  We would need the development documentation and we can usually have it integrated within 2 - 3 weeks.  If the payment systems integration is extremely complex and doesn't follow standard protocol the time can take longer than 3 weeks.

4. Is it possible to give clients a direct weblink to thier image gallery? ...or do they have to go through the main website?

Yes.  When you setup new galleries you will see the direct link that you can send clients once the gallery is activated.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Have a great week!
