Do you propose a french, spanish, italian, german, etc version of your gallery?

We have yet to work with a client in translating our software into any other language.  Our software does have a language pack capable of being translated.  The admin would remain in english but everything on the clients end could be translated to any other language.

If you are interested let us know and I'll give you a discount for taking the time to translate the kart into another language.

Is it possible to have a DHTML Menus that represents categories and sub-categories of folders in order to help the potential customer to have his own
image folder = less time to find its photography

I do covers sport events and I want to have a hierarchy of 3 or 4 levels like :
SPORT > HORSE SHOW > 221007 > COMPETITION N°1 > _n°1 Isabell Douwa

We support one level of subcategories currently and we don't have the hierarchy levels you request.  It would take some time to add that functionality as well.


Is it possible to name the folders with special characters like :
_n°1 (are you in UTF-8 ?)

Each Skooks Kart is installed on the clients shared hosting environment and depending on their server configuration it may or may not be enabled.

Is it possible to load all the structure of folders and image content through FTP
and to make your gallery detect them to recreate the same structure online ?

Our system has a main configuration folder where we can customize the folder structure, folder naming, etc.  It's not an auto-detection but it is easily configurable.


Is it possible to search the photography by name ?

There is not a search option currently built in.

Is it possible to change language ?

Yes.  We currently have three languages to choose from: USA English, Australian English, UK English.  Other languages could be easily added to our system.

Is it possible to make only payment by cheque ?

You can setup whatever payment methods you choose in the admin of the Skooks Kart.  If you only want to take a cheque you can easily do that and also customize the message given to the client on the final checkout page as well as the order confirmation and email confirmation.

In regards to purchasing the Skooks Kart clients can pay by check/cheque.  Usually clients in Europe have to send a cheque payment through Western Union or a similar money wire transfer in order for us to receive the funds quickly to begin the installation.

Is it possible to send the bill with a PDF file with all the picture chosen in the lightbox as thumbnails to resume the order ?

It's possible to access any order once the client has clicked on Checkout.  You can easily see what clients are purchasing as well as easily printing out a PDF and mailing a bill for a print order.
