Even though we have the most recent version of wordpress we do not use it to make post. Microsoft has a free program called Windows Live Writer that makes blogging much easier. I don't think there is a Mac version, but if you use Windows it really makes blogging much faster. You may want to try it out until you get your blog upgraded.
